The Present Past

At this very second everywhere in the world a life is being born.   All parents and babies face the same sequence of events. We all went through the bottle feedings, dirty diapers, long nights, attending and being attended to. Our birth was our beginning, in turn it began our past, because every second, moment, and hour propels us forward, leaving in it’s wake a momentous string of events that produces what is called our past. Everything we had learned in our past has taught us understanding, given us wisdom, insight, discernment and a grain of faith as small as a mustard seed. This last part is not from our parents but from the living God. The word declares that we are to move from glory to glory, and from faith to faith. We know that all things that happened before have and are working in the moment that is called our today!  Are we being good stewards of what we have been taught and by the things that have formed our lives. Everything we have done has pleased or displeased someone, a parent, friend, guardian, and most of all our Heavenly father. With the gifts and talents that God has given us, exactly what are we doing with what has been given to us? These gifts and talents are given to each of us for healing wounded lives that are sometimes silently crying out for someone to touch them, to pray with them, and encourage, lift them up and tell them this is the way, keep moving, just one step at a time, call on the Lord and He will meet you, right where you are. Whoever you are, this is for you. Make the most of the time you have left. You are the one who can be the blessing that someone needs and be blessed at the same time.
