Sometimes as a boy, my friends and I would go looking around for discarded junk. We might find a bat or enough rubber bands to make a ball – ,even an item to make a sled. Anyway we always had fun scrounging around. It was always better than just sitting around. The habit of trying to find something to salvage still is with us as we get older, only now we call it going to a junk yard or to yard sells on weekends.
Have you ever stopped to think we are the ones that have to be salvaged? What do you mean? I’m not dirty or broken! So you say, but God knows better because His word says our righteousness is as filthy rags. The good news is that He knows exactly where we are, and He knows how to make us whole again. My plans have never been His plans. God does have a plan for each of our lives, and He knows what plan is best for each one of us.
Will you accept the plan He has for your life? When we accept His plan or calling (as some say) and work inside that plan, He will make great things happen on earth like we’ve never seen before. It takes all of us being good stewards of what He has given us, and the Holy Spirit can make something out of it. Let us work for the day is almost gone. Be Blessed and Be Strong.
